Wanuri Kahiu completed her first feature film in 2007 titled; “From A
Whisper” based on the real life events surrounding the August 7, twin bombings
of US Embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in 1998. In 2009 she wrote and
directed a short Science Fiction Film “Pumzi” that had its international
premiere at Sundance Film Festival. Yes, you heard it right Science Fiction out
